Prior to distributing iOS / Android version "PUBG MOBILE" of "PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG)" from mid-May, PUBG began pre-registration on the official website on April 25. In addition, it is said that a pre-registration campaign will also be held to give gifts that can be used in the game according to the number of registrations.

Age of Empires: Castle Siege PC is a fun casual game of strategy based on Age of Empires II, the second version of one of the most popular RTS games in history. It is much simpler than Age of Empires II, both in visual and gameplay, but with its own characteristics.

Castle Siege offers a mechanics resemblance to games like Clash of Clans. But does Microsoft have managed to produce a game that rivals its most popular opponent? Does the label sustain the most casual version of the franchise? Check now in our analysis.

Adapting a successful formula

Age of Empires: Castle Siege is totally facing casual fights. Still, you’re not going to stop being fun with the game. The difference in Age of Empires, for example, is that you do not send your troops to the points you want to attack, since there is no map to be exploited.

Even so, the fun is assured. You will have to create strategies to invade enemy territory and be able to destroy the castle before it is annihilated. What warriors do you use? What structures to attack? How and where to position the soldiers?

This makes the game a little more complex than clash of clans, for example, and that most games of the genre. Age of Empires: Castle Siege obviously doesn’t offer the diverse possibilities of age of Empires, but it’s still fun for it.

Casual, but not so much

Like most casual games of the genre, you can use coins to accelerate constructions and productions. Otherwise, you have to wait seconds or minutes to get ready. And this is perhaps the most annoying point of the game since it makes the game-play more monotonous and slow.

Meanwhile, Age of Empires: Castle Siege offers smarter and complex mechanics than genre games, because it allows you to plan attacks on enemy castles with more details. And that makes a big difference in the time to play, since it’s not enough just to send their soldiers so they can do it all by themselves.

Don’t be fooled by the visual

The charts of Age of Empires: Castle siege are also similar to those of most casual games. But we’re talking about age of Empires and a game developed by Microsoft. Therefore, it was expected that the quality would be superior to the majority of the titles of the genre.

The look is really fantastic, even though it resembles the competitors. Moreover, it is possible to see several elements of age of Empires II, which makes the game much more nostalgic, and should please full to fans of the famous game.

The animations are also fantastic, exceptionally when battles are being held. The movement of soldiers and the structures of war does not leave to be desired, presenting good joints that make the experience somewhat more akin to the Age II.

Is it worth it?

Age of Empires: Castle Siege is not a game as complex as Age of Empires II and has no intention of being. The game is focused on rapid fights between castles, which makes its game-play much faster and more dynamic than the famous RTS title, and it should please even those who twist the nose to casual titles.

Eagles (Short Story)

Sweat was pouring down my face as I ran through the trees. The egg was rocking and making strange noises. I stopped for a second to catch my breath and get a closer look at the egg. The egg was hatching!
A week earlier…
“Jack, where are you?’’ I called through the trees for my best friend. “Jack this isn’t funny anymore.” I could hear the distant cries of my friends. I shouted once more, “Jack!” And then it hit me, he must be on Eagle Top Mountain. Nobody had been up there in almost a hundred years. There were rumours of enormous eagles that lived up there that could tear you apart!
I trudged up the mountainside, I was almost halfway there when I heard something, not far away from me. It was a stubborn little egg. I watched it as it slowly rolled down the mountainside. It began to pick up speed, and the thought occurred to me that I should probably save the poor little creature inside. With a sigh I started to run towards the runaway egg. Up ahead I could see the drop, this is it…
I ran, jumped and caught! “Aaaaaagh!” I screamed as I fell, aiming for a streamlined dive, hoping I was diving into water, and deep water at that. CRASH!!!
I had collided with the ground. Then I started floating, floating upwards. I gasped for air as I reached the surface of the water. I’d landed in water!
By the time I had arrived at the village it was dark. My friends were waiting at the entrance for me. “Have you guys found Jack yet?” I asked. “We found him at the ant hill.” “E-eagles came. They took Jack and then flew back to Eagle Top.”
It had only been a week and there had been countless eagle invasions, about ten people had been taken. I knew why the eagles were coming. I sprinted home to retrieve the egg. When I’d found the egg up on Eagle Top it was about as big as a chicken egg but now it was almost the size of a saucepan. I sighed. That would make me a lot more vulnerable on my journey to Eagle Top.

The egg was hatching! I heard a piercing shriek from above. I heard a few more. Then I saw an eagle diving straight at me. I threw the egg above my head and ducked, preparing for the worst. I looked up and saw an eagle flying above me, grasping the egg in its talons. It seemed to say something that sounded like, “Thank you.” Another eagle came and laid an unconscious Jack on the ground beside me. I looked up and saw other eagles. Jack suddenly woke, “Jay, what h-h-happened?” I sighed and looked up to the sky. “It’s a long story.”

Short Story

Once upon a time there lived a very naughty boy. This naughty boy was named Callum. His big sister wanted to go to the pictures with her friend. She was told she was allowed to go. Then the day before they were going her mum said that she was working that day so Callum had to go with them. The girls both sighed. The next day was the big day. Callum and Alyssa his big sister got dressed up and got into the car. Once they were all in the car and ready they left to go and pick up Alyssa's friend. They all got back in the car after picking Cassie, Alyssa's friend up. They drove to the picture theatre and got given $20 each. While they were saying goodbye to Alyssa's mum she reminded Alyssa that Callum was not allowed coke or any type of fizzy drink because he would go crazy. So they went into the pictures and bought there tickets then they went and got there own snacks for the movie. Alyssa told Callum he was only to buy water and popcorn. They all got there snacks and Alyssa checked to see that Callum didn't have and fizzy drink. They went into the theatre and the movie started. Halfway through the movie Callum decided that he needed to go to the toilet after he had finished his drink. He asked his older sister and she said it was ok. She turned around and started watching the movie again. Callum quietly opened her purse and took $5 out and ran to the drinks bar. He asked politely for a can of coke. He gave the man the money and went back into the picture theatre. He was sculling it quickly so he could get as much as possible before his sister noticed. Alyssa turned around and saw him sculling the coke. She looked furious. She grabbed the can off him and through it in the bin. They both turned around and started watching the movie again. Once the movie was over they started walking out and Alyssa got a message from her mum saying that they had to walk home. They all started walking home and they came to a big hill. Callum thought he would run down it. He started running down it and Alyssa yelled at the top of her lungs to stop running or you will trip over. He just ignored her and kept running. After about a minute he tripped over and was screaming. Alyssa and Cassie ran. They finally got to him and he had a huge hole in his knee. Alyssa quickly phoned her mum and told her what happened and her mum said that she would be there in a minute. Their mum arrived and picked Callum up and told the girls to keep walking home. Callum and his mum came home. He said he was sore. Callum told them that he got 10 stiches and that he was never going to drink the wrong things again. They were all pleased that Callum was alright.
